Skin Cancer Awareness Month 2025

Brief

Use Skin Cancer Awareness Month to educate consumers on gaps in sunscreen knowledge and encourage SPF reapplication through a high-impact awareness campaign.

Approach

Created a street-interview campaign using bold statement copy and real public reactions to generate intrigue, highlight misconceptions around SPF, and position Brush-On SPF as a practical reapplication solution.

My Role

  • Organised and coordinated London shoot with internal team.

  • Planned and briefed all social content.

  • Conducted public interviews questioning SPF habits and initial thoughts on our Brush-On SPF.

  • Filmed and edited organic social pieces using sound bites from the interviews.

  • Edited Meta paid ads focused on SPF reapplication awareness.

Results

  • Created a bank of high-performing street-interview content repurposed across Instagram, Meta ads and wider campaign communications.

  • Sparked conversation around SPF reapplication through relatable public responses and educational messaging.

  • Over the 4-week campaign: +170% account engagement, +235% shares, 5x blended ROAS, web CVR 5.53%.
